Like so many people who play golf, Mark was introduced to golf by his father at ten years of age. He would play with family and with friends at his nearby local golf club as a child and into adulthood. At school Mark enjoyed competing across many sports before eventually concentration on golf in his teenage years when he represented his club, county, region, university and England Schools. Having worked in business for 10 years whilst competing as an amateur he turned professional in 2006. Mark studied the UK PGA Foundation Degree, Graduating in 2009 whilst competing on the PGA Europro Tour, and regional PGA circuits. He coached and led the Durham Junior Golf County Academy Programme during 2011-2014.

Mark believes his calling was in coaching golf and that his golf knowledge, life experience and objectiveness could provide much needed clarity and benefit to the next and current generation of golfer – at a time when technology, data and jargon has flooded the market. Through studying and competing alongside some great golfers and coaches Mark takes great reward from seeing his students benefit from greater understanding and clarity, enjoyment, and progress through his guidance and wisdom.

At a time when so many instructors have turned “Teachers” & “Educators” Mark’s aim is to continue to provides much needed golf and life coaching to kids, beginners and experienced golfers.
